Dashboard Overview
Understanding the Kanta home screen and navigation.
After logging in, you land on the Kanta home dashboard. This is your command centre for the day.
Navigation sidebar
The left sidebar contains all Kanta modules. Modules visible to you depend on your role and which modules your facility has enabled.

Click any item to navigate. The current page is highlighted in the sidebar.
Home dashboard widgets
The home screen shows a summary of today's activity:
- Today's TAT — average turnaround time across all tests processed today
- QC status — pass/fail summary of the most recent QC run per analyser
- Active work queue — count of samples awaiting processing
- Equipment alerts — any assets flagged for overdue maintenance
- Recent activity — last 10 actions taken in the system
Widgets refresh automatically every 60 seconds. Pull down to refresh on mobile.

| Notifications bell | System alerts — QC failures, maintenance due, data bridge errors |

LRIDS display board
If your facility uses the LRIDS (Lab Result Information Display System), click LRIDS in the sidebar to open a full-screen display board suitable for a TV or public monitor in the waiting area. It shows patient collection queue status and estimated wait times.
