Tests Analytics

Viewing test counts, trends, and breakdowns by section.

The Tests view shows how many tests of each type have been processed — by day, week, or month. Use it to understand workload distribution and demand patterns.

What you can see​

  • Test volume by type — FBC, LFT, RFT, urinalysis, malaria RDT, and all other tests in your catalogue
  • Volume by section — Haematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Point of Care
  • Volume by doctor / referrer — which clinicians send the most samples
  • Daily trend — volume per day over the selected period

Using the Tests dashboard​

  1. Go to Lab Metrics → Tests
  2. Select a date range using the date picker (top right)
  3. Use the Section filter to focus on a specific department

Hover over any bar in the chart to see the exact count for that day.

Exporting​

Click Export CSV to download the full test volume table. Useful for:

  • Monthly performance reports to management
  • Reagent and consumable planning
  • Accreditation evidence packages
